Ryanair hopes to increased the amount of travelers that it brings through London Stansted by 10 percent in 2015 - bringing to the total number to 18m.
The company will offer two new routes between Castellon & Ponta Delgada - this takes the number of routes to 110. It says that this traffic will support 18,000 'on-site' jobs at the airport.
In London, Ryanair’s Chief Marketing Officer, Kenny Jacobs discussed the new schedule:
"Ryanair will continue to connect London with Europe’s key centres of business, with more flights and improved schedules to and from major cities including Berlin, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Madrid, Milan, Prague, Rome and Warsaw, making Ryanair the ideal choice for business customers, and reaffirming Stansted as the gateway to London, with more European connections than any other London airport."
Last week Ryanair announced that its traffic was up by 29 percent in February, compared with 12 months earlier.
The Irish airline carried 5.8m passengers during the month. Its load factor was up by 11 percent - at 89 percent for the month.
