Ryanair is pledging to introduce €99 fares to the United States of America if it gets control of Aer Lingus.
The airline says the low basic charges would be subsidised by a revamped and improved business class.
Ryanair is still awaiting an approval decision from the European Commission on its latest take over bid.
The carrier has today launched double-daily flights between Dublin and Brussels to mark the upcoming Irish EU Presidency.
It is currently in the process of trying again to takeover Aer Lingus but the board of the former State carrier has repeatedly urged shareholders to reject the €694 million offer claiming it undervalues the airline.
Ryanair is awaiting the outcome of a review of the bid which is being undertaken by the European Commission.
A decision is expected in January.
In the event of a successful bid Ryanair spokesperson Stephen McNamara says a basic €99 to the USA will be introduced.
He says Ryanair would have other ways of generating revenue.
