Ryanair is launching a "prime" subscription service for its customers - offering a range of deals and discounts.
The airline says the discount will allow members who fly 12 times per year to save up to five times the €79 subscription cost.
It is limited to 250,000 members on a first come, first served basis.
Newstalk’s Business Editor Joe Lynam has outlined the perks of signing up, saying: “€79 a year - it gives you first dibs on, you know, subsidised flights or cheaper flights.
“It will give you free seat purchase, which is a big deal if you like to sit in a certain part of the plane.
“It will also give you kind of a special travel insurance if your flight is delayed or stolen bags or whatever it is.”
