Survivors of the Sandy Hook school massacre are expected to take part in a gun control rally in Washington today.

The children and staff will be amongst thousands taking to the streets to support President Obama's call for a ban on military-style assault weapons.

Opinion is deeply divided over the 'right to bare arms' since 20 children and six teachers were killed when a gunman opened fire on the Sandy Hook Elementary School last month.
