Today will be a blustery day with good sunny spells and scattered showers – some heavy.

Southwesterly winds will be fresh to strong and gusty, but very strong along west and northwest coasts.

Top temperatures of 16C to 19C.

TONIGHT

Tonight will be mostly dry with good clear spells at first.

However, scattered showers will continue to affect the northwest and west and showers will turn heavy later with the risk of thundery downpours.

Showers will become more widespread towards morning.

Lowest temperatures will be around 10C to 13C in moderate to fresh and gusty southwest winds.
