Most places will be dry today with good sunshine but a few showers will occur in northern areas and in parts of the southeast.

Moderate northerly winds will fall off light later and it will be cool with highest temperatures of 10 to 14 degrees Celsius in Ulster, north Connacht and much of Leinster but milder in Munster and south Connacht with temperatures of 15 to 17 degrees Celsius this afternoon.
