Early tonight, persistent rain will extend up over Ulster.
The rain will become lighter and more showery during the night and will clear from the western half of the country by morning.

A status yellow rainfall warning is in place for Munster, Carlow, Kilkenny and Wexford.
There will be heavy rain at times with amounts of 25 to 40 mm and a risk of spot flooding.
Rain will be heaviest from this afternoon to tonight.
