A review is to bereleased today into Newsnight's shelving of a report into Jimmy Savile's decades long campaign of sexual abuse.

The report will investigate why the BBC dropped their Newsnight programme on the children's entertainer, which included interviews with alleged victims of the star.

Witnesses including top BBC executives and journalists on the flagship current affairs show have given evidence.
