An Irish support group for sexual abuse victims says it's very likely that Jimmy Savile offended here, and is urging anyone affected to come forward.

One in Four says Jimmy Savile visited Ireland for charity work around once a year for more than 10 years up until 1981, including a sponsored walk for the Central Remedial Clinic.

The late broadcaster's abuse lasted for 54 years, and he now has 214 criminal offences recorded against his name in the UK.

The Executive Director of One in Four Maeve Lewis says there probably are Irish victims.
