The Health Minister has confirmed that the husband of Savita Halappanavar will receive a draft report of the inquiry into her death tomorrow.
The Health Service Executive (HSE) inquiry set up in the wake of her death at Galway University Hospital last October was tasked with identifying any shortcomings in her care.
Praveen Halappanavar maintains Savita was repeatedly refused a termination of her pregnancy before she died from septicaemia.
'Legal issues' delayed report
Minister James Reilly said last week there were legal issues delaying the publication of the report which is formulated and then sent out to people mentioned in it.
He said those mentioned have a right to "challenge" the findings.
James Reilly says he has not seen the final draft of the report and that Praveen will be invited to contribute.
