Sean "Diddy" Combs won't be appearing in Downton Abbey despite tweets saying he would join the hit ITV show.
The rapper's official Twitter account said, "MY BIG NEWS: So happy to announce that I'm a series regular on DOWNTON ABBEY.
A spokeswoman for US broadcaster PBS says it's not true.
It is unknown whether or not Diddy's Twitter account @iamdiddy, followed by 8.7 million people, was hacked after the Downton Abbey logo was added as the avatar and background.

The 43-year-old is yet to comment on the story.
The Golden Globe and Emmy-winning series is about the lives of aristocratic Britons and their servants in the early 20th century.
Downton Abbey's having a moment in the US, the third series premiered there in January attracting a record 7.9 million viewers for PBS.
The fourth series is currently being filmed in Britain.
