Bankrupt businessman Sean Quinn says he has done everything he can to purge his contempt.
The former billionaire was released from Mountjoy Prison yesterday morning after serving a 9-week sentence for contempt of court.
He was jailed in November for his role in an asset-stripping plot.
Quinn says he will apologise
The Quinn family is currently embroiled in a legal battle with the Irish Bank Resolution Corporation (IBRC) over debts to the former Anglo.
The matter is due before the courts again on January 14th.
Speaking on Shannonside-Northern Sound this morning Mr. Quinn said he has done everything possible to comply with court orders.
He also said he and his family will apologise to the Irish people if the courts find that Anglo Irish Bank was legally correct in acquiring Quinn companies.
