No further action is expected to be taken after gardaí were called to the Westport to Dublin train at the weekend over an incident involving Sean Quinn Junior.
The son of the bankrupt billionaire was escorted from the train after complaints by a number of other passengers about his behaviour. Mr. Quinn Junior spent time in jail last year for contempt of court over dealings by his family with the Irish Bank Resolution Corporation (IBRC).
He is understood to have been cautioned by Gardai in Tullamore.
Kevin Doyle is news editor with the Evening Herald. He says Gardaí boarded the train and took Mr. Quinn Junior to Tullamore station.
