A statement from the zoo says they pose no danger to the public, but experts are advising people not to approach or catch the animals.
The zoo team can be contacted on 00-44-28-9077-6277.
Lion-tailed macaques are strictly diurnal - so it is unlikely that any sightings will take place at night.
