A woman who was reported missing in Cork has been located safe and well

A search operation was launched earlier for an elderly woman reported missing who was last seen walking around the Garryvoe beach area in Ballycotton.

Members of the Gardai, Coastguard and local lifeboat were involved in the search.

She has since been located.
