The search for bodies has resumed off the Italian island of Lampedusa this afternoon. 

111 bodies have been recovered so far, after a boat carrying hundreds of African migrants sank on Thursday.

The search of the wreck was suspended on Friday due to bad weather.

In the wake of the tragedy, the Italian government says it's considering a change to the law which criminalizes people who enter the country illegally.
