In the north, a search operation off the coast of Portrush for a missing man has terminated for the day.
Storm force winds have made conditions too dangerous for police and coastguard crews to continue searching for a man swept into the water at Ramore Head on Saturday afternoon.
The 38 year old is thought to have been swept off the rocks and into the sea by a wave at around 4.25 yesterday afternoon.
