Gardai are investigating the discovery of a body off the coast of Galway this afternoon.
A search was launched by the Galway RNLI Lifeboat and the Irish Coastguard Helicopter earlier today after a man was reported missing.
The alarm was first raised by a friend of the missing man yesterday.
