A search is underway for two missing people at a lake in Co Donegal.

Emergency crews are searching the Lough Keel area outside Kilmacrennan.

Malin Head Coast Guard says it responded to the call at around 3pm this afternoon.

A Coast Guard helicopter is involved in the ongoing operation, with gardaí from Milford also at the scene.
