Gardaí have arrested a second man in connection with the Ashling Murphy murder investigation.
The man, aged in his 30s, is being held at a Garda station in the east of the country.
He is being detained under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
Gardaí say he is being questioned in relation to a potential withholding of information.
Meanwhile another man, arrested on Tuesday, remains in custody.
He is still being questioned at Tullamore Garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
He can be held for up to 24 hours before being charged or released.
