A Health and Safety Authority investigation is continuing after two men died in a freak accident at a Longford shop yesterday.

49 year old Sean Mulleady and Pat Gaffney in his late 60s were killed when an internal wall fell on them as they were shopping at the Connaught Gold DIY store in Longford town.

It's understood the two men, who were int heir 40s and 60s, were customers in the store.

Four other people are still being treated at the Midlands Regional Hospital for their injuries - one of them is believed to have been seriously injured.

The Health and Safety Authority is expected to talk to staff and customers at the shop today.
