A security alert is continuing in south Belfast after a suspicious device was discovered at Donegall Avenue.

Homes have been evacuated in the area and part of the railway line has been closed, as a precaution. 

Irish Rail says the Dublin to Belfast train has been suspended at Newry with bus transfers in operation.
