Services are resuming in and out of Heuston station in Dublin after they were cancelled due to fallen power lines south of Kildare this evening.
Crews from the ESB and Iarnród Éireann were able to clear able to clear fallen lines in the past hour.
The rail service said delays will continue – especially at crossing points to and from Galway, Westport and Waterford.
Delays are likely to continue on services to Grand Canal Dock and to Newbridge/Hazelhatch.
Power line knocked onto track from earlier road traffic accident now cleared from track south of Kildare.
