Seven men charged with an attack and burglary on a home in Co. Tipperary are appearing in court again this morning.
The men - who are aged between 19 and 26 - were arrested by gardaí in Kildare and Dublin after a high-speed chase hours after the raid last week.
The seven suspects who are all from Dublin are alleged to have smashed their way into the home belonging to a business couple and their three children in Killenaule last Thursday.
It is understood jewellery and cash was taken in the raid, much of which was recorded on a 999 call made by the family.
Gardaí apprehended the suspects on the main Cork to Dublin motorway within hours of the raid.
They have been remanded in custody since appearing at a special sitting of Cashel District Court on Sunday. Armed Gardaí guarded the seven as they were brought to the courthouse.
Similar security is expected for the hearing this morning.
