Gerry Adams on meeting Prince Charles: Our steps must be forward
Prince Charles shook hands with Gerry Adams this week, during what was the first ever meeting between a British royal and the Sinn Féin president. Mr Adams has described the meeting as 'symbolic'.
It comes ahead of a visit by the Prince of Wales to the scene of the IRA bombing, which killed his great-uncle in 1979.
Prince Charles himself has thanked the Irish people for their hospitality, and says he is always made to feel welcome in Ireland.
'Lolz' and 6,000 other words added to the new Scrabble dictionary
If you find yourself hiding out from a harsh snowstorm in Athabaskan Canada, and set out a Scrabble board to pass the time, look around you for inspiration. Sitting inside a quinzhee, a hollowed-out pile of snow used a shelter, could nab you 29 points.
It is one of the new 6,500 officially added to the new Scrabble dictionary. An obscure word no doubt, but it joins the ranks of popular words used in text speech and online, like obvs, lotsa, lolz, and shizzle. Think it’s ridic? Well, you can play that word too.
Unemployment falls below 10%, as more people are in work

The rate of unemployment has fallen below 10% for the fist time since January 2009. Figures from the Central Statistics Office (CSO) show the rate is now at 9.9%.
The Quarterly National Household survey shows almost two million people are now in work in Ireland.
There was an annual increase in employment of 2.2% - or 41,300 - in the year to the first quarter of 2015, bringing total employment to 1,929,500.
Stephanie Roche's American dream is over for now
Ireland women's international Stephanie Roche has been let go by her club Houston Dash.
The FIFA Puskas award runner-up has been released from the squad to create space for new signings as rules oblige teams in the National Women's Soccer League to stick to a 20-player limit.
Roche only signed for the American club three months ago and has since made two substitute appearances.
Abandoned dog found at the top of England's highest mountain

An abandoned dog has been found at the summit of England's highest mountain.
The male collie cross - nicknamed Scafell by staff at an animal welfare charity - was discovered by holidaymakers at the summit of Scafell Pike in the Lake District.
English police were unable to assist the couple in their quest to find the dog's owner, so took Scafell to their home in South Ayrshire before calling the Scottish SPCA.
65-year-old grandmother gives birth to quadruplets
A 65-year-old woman has given birth to quadruplets, German media has reported – making her a mother to 17 children.
Annegret Raunigk had been criticised by doctors for her decision to have fertilised eggs implanted abroad, amid concerns her body would be physically incapable of bearing the children.
However, the three boys and one girl were delivered by caesarean section in Berlin on Tuesday, according to RTL.
Newstalk presenter Dil Wickremasinghe proposed live on air
On what was an historic day, Newstalk presenter Dil Wickremasinghe proposed to her partner Anne Marie O'Toole live on her Global Village programme.
It came after Ireland made global history, after backing same-sex marriage in a popular vote.
Just over 62% supported changing the Constitution, with more than 1.2 million people turning out in support of marriage equality.
