Shane MacGowan will be laid to rest in Tipperary today.
The Pogues star died last week following a long stay in hospital at the age of 65.
To allow the public to pay their respects to the singer, his coffin will pass through Dublin city centre and Nenagh, County Tipperary.
At 11am, the funeral procession will begin at St Lotts Road, head across MacMahon Bridge and then Pearse Street.
It will then head through Westland Row, Fenian Street before finishing at Denzille Lane at 11.45am.
Gardaí have advised motorists there will be traffic restrictions in place along the route between 10.45am and 11.45am.

The funeral mass will be held at St Mary’s of the Rosary Church, Nenagh, County Tipperary at 3.30pm.
Following the mass, the funeral cortege will move from Church Road to Market Cross, allowing the public to pay their respects.
Gardaí have created a traffic management plan for the town and Church Road will be closed from 8am to 7pm.
There will also be restrictions on Kenyon St, Pearse St and the in town centre between 2pm and 7pm.
Parking will be available at Éire Óg Nenagh GAA Club and the former Procter & Gamble factory in Gortlandroe.

The family have said they are “thankful” for the public’s support and by providing people with an opportunity to say goodbye, they hope they are “repaying that loyalty by giving those that loved and admired him a chance to wish him God Speed and say Slán”.
The likes of Hollywood actor Johnny Depp, singer Nick Cave and U2 frontman Bono are all expected to attend the funeral.
