Alan Shatter has launched a further appeal against a finding that he broke Data Protection law.

The former justice minister has launched High Court action after losing an earlier appeal at a Circuit Civil Court.

Last year the Data Protection Commission found that Deputy Shatter had breached data law, by revealing details of an encounter between Gardaí and Mick Wallace during a live TV debate.
