This week's Shopping Trolley Hotline will hopefully get you out of a jam, by helping you pick the best one.
Newstalk's Simon Tierney took up the jam challenge for The Hard Shoulder.
He taste-tested three strawberry jams: Dunnes own-brand, Fruitfield and Folláin's.
Dunnes is the cheapest, costing you 79c for 454g.
"It's larger than the other three but it's the cheapest," Simon said.
"It's the Ryanair of jams".
"For the product that's the cheapest, it actually has the most amount of fruit in it.
"It has 55% of strawberries... but it's also the sugariest".
Fruitfield will set you back €2.50.
"It's a much thicker product - it has pips," he said.
Host Anton Savage said he's not sure it's worth the extra cost.
"The flavour is better - I'm not sure it's worth €1.80 for the extra flavour," he suggested.
Folláin Strawberry and Prosecco jam costs €3.69 - making it 367% more expensive than Dunnes own-brand.
"This is the most expensive product, but it does have the most complex set of ingredients," Simon said.
"It also contains a fascinating ingredient called Marc de Champagne.
"It's actually the distilled waste seeds and skins from the grapes that are used to make Champagne.
"It's actually distilled down into a white spirit.
"So not only have you got Prosecco in this product, you also have an extra white alcoholic spirit in it".
"It's much more liquidy than the other products.
"Even though it's the most expensive, it has the least amount of strawberry in the product.
"However it is the least sugary," Simon added.
Anton said Folláin's would be his winner: "This Prosecco stuff is good, I'd do that all day long".
