The singer Mika has confirmed he is gay.

In the past he has described himself as bisexual and insisted his private life should remain so.

But in an interview Mika has admitted that his love songs are actually about a relationship with a man.

The British singer-songwriter released his first full-length studio album in 2007.

‘Life in Cartoon Motion’ sold more than 5.6 million copies worldwide and helped him win a Brit Award and receive a Grammy Award nomination.

His single ‘Grace Kelly’ was number one on the UK Singles Chart in January of that year.

In 2009 Mika released his second studio album ‘The Boy Who Knew Too Much’.
