Sinn Féin has said it would abolish student fees and increase apprenticeship wages.
During the week, Simon Harris told DCU students that his party would also phase out fees.
Party spokesperson on Workers' Rights, Louise O'Reilly hit out at Fine Gael's proposals.
“Well, they've had 14 years to do that really, haven't they,” she said.
“Sinn Féin are committed to the reduction and elimination of college fees – but more than that, we want to see supports in place to ensure that every single person has a chance to do what they want to do when they finish school.
“So, for some people, that is an apprenticeship, for others it's work and indeed for some it's third level education.”
The party has also proposed getting rid of all sub-minimum wage rates for over 18s.
