Sinn Fein has agreed to back proposals made by U.S diplomat Dr.Richard Haass.
The party met in Dublin this afternoon to discuss the talks aimed at solving some of Northern Ireland's most contentious issues.
Gerry Adams says the key to finding an agreement will be for "civic society to engage".
