Six people, including a mother and father, have died after a family shooting in a town in Germany, police have said.
The bodies of three women and three men were found in and behind a building which houses a bar.
Two others were injured in Rot am See, northeast of Stuttgart, one of whom has life-threatening injuries.
Two children aged 12 and 14 were threatened.
A 26-year-old German citizen called police and said he had killed several people, regional police chief Reiner Moeller said.
Officers kept him on the line and arrested him at the scene a few minutes later.
His parents are among the dead.
The man had a licence to own firearms as a member of a shooting club.
The motive is not yet known but police are treating it as a "family drama", Mr Moeller said.
The scene has been taped off and forensic examinations are under way.
Rot am See is a rural town of 5,300 people.
