Six people have die in a mining accident in North West Spain.

A gas leak in the Sant Lucia mine near Pola De Gordon filled the mine with methane.

Five miners were injured in the incident, one of them critically.

A representative for the mine said that the miners did not have time to put on their gas masks.

It's the worst accident at a Spanish Mine since 1995.
