The six-year-old girl stabbed on Thursday has been released from hospital today.
She is the second child to be released after being injured in Thursday's stabbing outside Gaelscoil Coláiste Mhuire on Parnell Street East.
A five-year-old boy was released on Thursday night.
A five-year-old girl remains in critical condition in hospital today, while her carer and the male suspect in the attack both remain in serious condition.
The stabbing happened shortly after 1:30pm on Thursday on Parnell Square East.
It is understood that the man first attacked a woman near the school before attacking the children, until he was apprehended by people in the area at the time.
Gardaí said they are following a “definite line of inquiry” and are not looking for anyone else at this time.
