A major tech outage is impacting airlines, banks, newsrooms and financial services around the world.
In the UK, Sky News has been off-air all morning – with the outage understood to be affecting several other news outlets around the world.
It is understood the outlets have been impacted by a worldwide tech outage linked to Microsoft Windows.
The outage also appears to have impacted on airlines, IT firms and financial services.

Ryanair has this morning confirmed it is impacted by the problem – advising customers to arrive at the airport at least three hours before their departure time.
The airline is advising anyone who is due to travel today but has yet to check in that they must now do so at the airport.
The outage has also seen major US airlines including American Airlines, Delta Airlines and United Airlines grounded, while airports in Germany, Amsterdam and Spain are also reporting issues.

This morning, Microsoft said it was continuing to address an issue “impacting users ability to access various Microsoft 365 apps and services”.
The tech giant said it has been “rerouting the impacted traffic to alternate systems” throughout the night.
It said it expects to see “continuous improvements” while it continues to take mitigation actions throughout the morning.
Sky News viewers were greeted a message apologising for the 'interruption’ to the service when the channels morning new broadcast was due to begin at 6am.
Presenters have taken to social media to inform viewers that the channel is dealing with a “tech issue”.

The London Stock Exchange has also been impacted – with a statement posted on its website saying a technical issue with its Regulatory News Service (RNS) publication being investigated.
When trading began at 8am, the exchanges website was still showing prices from last night;s close.
Users on the subreddit for cyber security firm Crowdstrike reported issues in India, the United States and New Zealand.
Users in Australia began reporting issues early on Friday, stating they had been locked out of their workstations.
Within hours, Australia's National Security Coordinator said it was aware of the large-scale technical outage affecting a number of companies and services across the country.
It said there was currently no information to suggest the outage is a cyber security incident.
