James Bond hit Skyfall has become the first movie to take a nine-figure sum at the UK box office.

The film has now passed the 100 million pound mark.

Daniel Craig's third appearance as Bond is still on general release more than two months after it first hit cinemas.

Globally it's taken more than one billion dollars - the equivalent of 620 million pounds.
