A thirty year old man has been remanded in custody after being charged with possession of a single barrel shotgun with intent to endanger life in Sligo over the weekend.

Michael O’ Connor with an address at Scardenmore, Strandhill Road, Sligo appeared before a special sitting of Sligo District Court this morning.

He's been remanded in custody to appear before Harristown District Court on Friday.
