Snoop Dogg will carry the Olympic Flame through Paris ahead of the games' official opening ceremony this Friday.
The US rapper has been chosen as one of the final torchbearers and will carry the flame through Saint-Denis, the north of Paris suburb that is home to the Stade de France Olympic Stadium.
The 52-year-old will be taking part in the penultimate stage of the flame’s journey, which will conclude at the Eiffel Tower.
The Olympic torch has been traveling across France since May and has already been carried by stars including actress Halle Berry and football manager Arsene Wenger.
Snoop Dogg’s involvement in the Olympics will extend beyond the torchbearer role, as he has been signed up to NBC and Peacock’s reporting team.

In a statement, the California rapper said he was “thrilled” to be involved in the event.
“We’re going to have some amazing competitions and, of course, I will be bringing that Snoop style to the mix,” he said.
“It’s going to be the most epic Olympics ever, so stay tuned, and keep it locked.
“Let’s elevate, celebrate, and make these games unforgettable, smoke the competition, and may the best shine like gold. Peace and Olympic LOVE, ya dig?”
Ireland's Olympic medal chances
It’s hoped that Team Ireland could return with its greatest-ever medal haul from this year’s games, with the likes of sprinter Rhasidat Adeleke, middle-distance runner Ciara Mageean, and gymnast Rhys McClenaghan all at the top of their game.
The event will run from July 26 to August 11 in Paris, with 133 Irish athletes set to take part.
Ireland has returned a total of 35 Olympic medals since it first took part in 1924.
