A snow-ice warning is in effect for several counties this morning.
Further falls of snow are expected in Donegal, Leitrim, Sligo, Cork, Tipperary and Waterford, with Met Éireann saying there will be accumulations in some areas.
The status yellow warning remains in effect until midday.

A similar warning remains in place for Antrim, Armagh, Fermanagh, Tyrone and Derry until the end of the day.
It comes after a snow / ice warning was issued for 18 counties yesterday.
Very cold weather is expected across the rest of the Republic today and tonight, with highest temperatures of just two or three degrees.
Temperatures as low as -3 to 0 degrees are expected tonight.
Rain or sleet is forecast mostly over Munster, with some falls of snow.
Scattered wintry showers are expected elsewhere, especially in northern and western coastal counties.
Overnight, icy conditions are expected as well as showers in northern and western coastal counties.
