A yellow weather alert for snow and ice will remain in place for all of Ireland until tomorrow morning.
Snowfall in Ulster and Connacht overnight will result in accumulations of up to 3cm.
Elsewhere, snow flurries may result in a lighter dusting of snow.

Conditions will remain dry but extremely cold with lows of -4 degrees celcius.
