A snow-ice warning has been issued for the country.
The status yellow warning comes into effect from 11pm tonight, and lasts until 6am on Monday morning.
Issuing the warning, Met Éireann said: "Scattered thundery showers of hail, sleet and snow expected during the period.
"Poor visibility, with slippery and icy conditions will occur at times."

Meanwhile, cold and wet conditions are expected throughout the country from later today.
Forecasters say rain will spread up over much of the country from this evening.
That rain will turn wintry in some parts.
While it's expected the rain, sleet and snow will be more showery overnight, it will turn heavy and prolonged over the northern half of the country.
Temperatures of -1 to +2 degrees are forecast.
