Gardaí have said that a package that led to evacuation of the Social Democrats' HQ was not a "credible" threat.
A "suspect package" addressed to recently-suspended TD Eoin Hayes to the party's offices and Gardaí were alerted.
Officers took the decision to evacuate and the Army Bomb Squad cordoned off the street in Dublin city centre.
Gardaí have now said that, "Following enquiries, the alert was not found to be credible."
The security cordon has now been lifted.
