Around 600 new jobs are being created at Paddy Power in Dublin.
The positions in areas such as e-commerce, technology, social media and risk management will be rolled out by 2015.
Paddy Power has recruited almost 200 people since April and these 600 new jobs will be based at the bookmakers new headquarters in Clonskeagh in Dublin.
The positions are in areas such as e-commerce, technology, social media, quantitative research, risk management and online marketing.
They will support the international online expansion of the company.
All 600 new jobs will be filled by the end of 2015 and will bring the total number of jobs at the bookmakers to 2,783.
The Taoiseach Enda Kenny has commended the company for its commitment to Ireland and its commitment to retaining and training Irish graduates.
