The South West in for some heavy rainfall over the next 24 hours, with Met Eireann issuing a warning that between 25-40mm of rain is expected in the region. The warning advises that up to 50mm could fall in coastal areas of county Cork.
The heavy rains are expected to continue through to Monday morning, following which it should brighten up later on Monday afternoon with temperatures hitting between 16 and 20 degrees.
