A Spanish TikToker has gone viral for saying Irish parents need to wash their children. 

In a video posted on his social media account, Nacho Barrueco said he was shocked to learn that some Irish children only wash once every 10-days. 

On Lunchtime Live, journalist and mother of seven Jen Hogan weighed on how many times your children need to bathe. 

“It doesn’t look like standards around bathing children are that different to what they were 30-years ago, maybe,” she said. 

“A lot of people fell into the practice of bathing them every single night, continuing into the toddler years and helping them get into a routine and maybe an ease of sleep. 

“When we get into primary school, thinking about my own kids, we’re not into bathing every day. 

“A lot of parents I spoke to [said] it’s once or twice a week - unless they’re involved in sports.”
