Ministers, TDs, Senators and the Attorney-General are set to jet off to 74 cities around the world for this year’s St Patrick’s Day celebrations.
This year’s programme of visits is the biggest ever organised by the Government with 36 representatives of the State travelling to 44 countries around the world.
Taoiseach Leo Varadkar will visit Washington DC for the traditional St Patrick's Day visit to the White House.
Meanwhile, Tánaiste Micheál Martin will visit New York and Boston, while Green Party leader Eamon Ryan will be jetting off to Singapore, Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai.
Minister for Finance Micheal McGrath will also be in North America with Chicago and Toronto pencilled in for visits.
Minister for Public Expenditure Paschal Donohoe will be Germany and Minister for Enterprise Simon Coveney will be jetting off to Australia.
Minister for Social Protection Heather Humphreys will be flying the green flag in London and Minister for Children Roderic O'Gorman will be visiting India and Bangladesh.
Ceann Comhairle Seán Ó Fearghaíl will be in Lebanon and Seanad Cathaoirleach Jerry Buttimer will visit Sierra Leone and Liberia.
Attorney General Rossa Fanning SC will fly to Argentina and Chile.
