St Patrick’s Athletic have won their second FAI Cup in three years after beating Bohemians at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
The Inchicore-based football team beat Bohs 3-1to take home the cup.
It marks Pat's second win in three years after beating the same opponent on penalties in 2021.
A record crowd of 43,000 attended the FAI final at the Aviva today.
The match itself lasted longer than anyone expected after fans lit flares around the ground.
The first half of the match lasted 50 minutes following delays caused by smoke and spectators at home watched the match through red mist.
Jonathan Afolabi scored the first goal for Bohs in the ninth minute, but goals from Mark Doyle and Tommy Lonergan and an own goal from Krystian Nowak secured a win for St Pat's.
St Patrick's Jamie Lennon was voted Player of the Match.
