A man is in a serious condition in hospital this morning, after a robbery at a shop in Dublin.
A lone male entered the shop on James Street shortly before 10.00pm last night and threatened two staff members with a syringe.

A struggle took place and Gardaí were alerted.
One of the staff members, a man in his 30s, collapsed at the scene and was taken to St James’s Hospital for treatment.
The suspect, also a man in is 30s, was arrested at the scene and is being held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
He’s being treated for a leg injury at St James’s Hospital.
