Met Eireann has issued two Status Orange Wind Warnings as Storm Brendan makes its way towards Ireland.
They will come into effect for all counties along the south and west coast from 7am on Monday.
The forecaster says gusts of up to 130 kilometres per hour are expected, and there's a significant risk of coastal flooding.
Conditions are expected to improve in Wexford, Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick and Waterford by 3pm.

However the windy conditions in Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo aren't expected to ease until midnight.

A Status Yellow Wind alert will also come into effect for counties in the midlands and east from 7am on Monday.
Gusts of 90 to 110 kiolmetres per hour are expected, highest in coastal areas.
That warning is valid until midnight.
