Met Éireann have placed six counties in the West of Ireland under status red weather alerts.
Red wind warnings are now in place for Mayo, Clare, Galway, Donegal, Leitrim and Sligo, as Storm Darragh is set to hit the country.

The warnings will lift at 2pm tomorrow for Galway and Clare, and 3pm for the other counties.
This follows status orange wind warnings issued across the country.
